Lunch Room Volunteers

Lunchroom volunteers needed; Green Team parent volunteer needed to help keep sustainable and green efforts going at SSMS.

If you can help, please email
Volunteering in the lunchroom is a fun way to get to know more kids at SSMS and make our school more sustainable. Please go to (formerly VolunteerSpot) to sign up for a 30-minute shift. (Shifts for several schools are on the same sign up, so be sure to choose the SSMS lunch times.) As a volunteer, you’ll go table to table while the kids are eating to remind them about what is recyclable and how to pack a zero waste lunch. At the end of lunch, you’ll help students sort their recycling correctly at the waste station. For more info on reducing lunchroom waste visit
