All SSMS Athletes must have the following information completed before participation:

Physical Information:
Sports physicals should be conducted by the student's pediatrician.
 
Impact testing:
Impact testing is mandatory for athletes in the following sports:
  • Basketball
  • Football
  • Wrestling
  • Cheerleading

Group ImPACT test dates at SSMS are: 

There are no Group ImPact tests scheduled at this time.

ImPact Testing for Student Consent

If your child has missed the scheduled group testing sessions at SSMS, Stephanie Stefanelli will be offering one make-up session a month at SSHS (starting in September). This is by appointment only and will be during the first week of each month. You can sign up by emailing sstefanelli@ssk12.org 


Call and schedule an ImPact test with the below clinic if you cannot make the group testing:

Testing cost is $15 and payment can be made by cash (exact amount) or check.

Monday, February 6 - Conditioning Camp

- 3:30-5:15 in SSMS Wrestling Room

- Need to have Impact Test and Sports Physical up to date

- Bring Shoes and Gym clothes

-Available to 6th, 7th & 8th grade students in SSMS & SGS

Monday, February 13 - Wrestling Practice Begins

-Practice Monday - Friday, 3:30-5:30 in Wrestling Room

- Athletes need Authorization for Athletic Participation (page 1 & 2), current physical, ImPact Test, Code of Conduct, $75 Sports Fee

Group ImPact Test at SSMS on Monday, February 6 - Appointment Required

Monday, February 6 at 3:45pm in the SSMS Media Center

Please contact Frederica Manning atFrederica.Manning@uchealth.orgto make an appointment (REQUIRED).Students must bring their chromebook, consent form and check for $15.Test cost is $15 and payment can be made by cash (exact amount) or by check (payable to UCHealth).

Please drop off Sports Paperwork to the SSMS front office. Please email esmith@ssk12.org to be added to the Wrestling roster.

SSMS Track

Track practice begins on Monday, March 27 and runs through May 12.

Practice is Monday - Thursday - 3:30 - 5:15

Parent meeting is on Thursday, March 30 at 5:30 on the SSMS Cafeteria

Students will need a current sports physical, Authorization for Athletic Participation form, Code of Conduct form and $75 sports fee. Track is available to 6, 7, 8th grade students. Please contact Ellin Smith at esmith@ssk12.org to have your student added to the roster.
